Welcome

No more suffering in silence. A supportive place for you to be heard, find answers and reconnect.

I am open minded and keen to listen to your story. I believe that we are all inherently good and tend towards growth, even if it can feel like the opposite sometimes. I find it fascinating how everyone is living in a different way and I don't believe that there is a single right way to live. We are all on a separate journey and I look forward to meeting you if our paths do cross. I work with adults, older people and young people from 16 years of age (I do not work with children).

My Approach

I can help you take the time you need to reflect on your situation, with a non judgemental and compassionate ear. I can help particularly if you are feeling anxious, depressed, confused or isolated, or if you are going through a difficult life change such as a bereavement, or other loss, or adjusting to a new diagnosis of Long Covid or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

As well as talking it out, I will invite your body to take part in the conversation. Your body often has a lot to say as well, the way you hold yourself, where there is tension or tightness, your aches and pains, repetitive injuries or chronic complaints and how you are breathing - all give clues to what might be impacting you on a deeper level and habits that are keeping you somewhere you don't want to be. These things can give you new insights and help you to gently re-member your body, put yourself back together in new ways and reconnect with yourself as a whole person.

About me

In my sessions, I bring together insights from 20+ years of experience and study:

  • Tools and theoretical ideas from social science, psychology, neuroscience and evolution as applied to mental health
  • Deep listening and understanding through conversation, creativity and spending time in nature
  • Body based wisdoms to help you rest and recover, that come from exploring your own movements, breathing, posture and habits.
